As some of you may have discovered, last week I experienced the horror for all web-based businesses: my website was "dead" for four days. This means I didn't receive any emails, nor was anyone able to view my website. I took it in stride for three days. On the fourth day I was faced with the possibility of it being down for another four days...I had a meltdown. I was frustrated. Then I realized what really got to me was that I had absolutely no control of the situation. I was powerless. I couldn't make my website get back up. I had to wait. I had to practice patience. I had to practice everything that I teach and share with others. Even spirit couldn't technically help me because they don't fix websites. The only comfort I could received (which is by far the best) were loving arms that held me with tenderness giving me permission to surrender to my emotions. Without judgment and without words, his arms and his loving energy did all of the communicating.
Sometimes all we need is someone to hold us to make things right in our world. I have to admit, for me it created a miracle. Within minutes after receiving the loving comfort and support that I needed my website was back up - live and visible again. Of course I was beyond relieved. BUT, more importantly, I was reminded again how powerful LOVE is. The man that I love so much gave me the most precious gift we can give another...his presence. His total and complete presence with me in those moments were a gift. It was all that I needed. I'm so grateful for this experience because once again I was shown that there's a silver lining in every cloud and that Love heals and creates miracles.
